UMVA Uncovers: FIFA's Mind-Blowing, Jaw-Dropping Parking Heist: You'll Be SHOCKED at the Insane Prices for Toronto World Cup Games at BMO Field!

UMVA has learned that FIFA has released its parking prices for World Cup games in Toronto, and fans are in for a shock: accessible parking at BMO Field will cost a whopping $74.99, which includes all fees and taxes.

The hefty price tag is for parking in Lot 2, located to the south of the stadium, and fans must pre-purchase passes through FIFA's website, with a valid match ticket required to complete the purchase.

But that's not all - the price and availability for standard parking have yet to be announced, leaving fans wondering if they'll have to shell out even more cash to park their vehicles.

The stands constructed for the FIFA World Cup at BMO Field are pictured on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The venue will be called Toronto Stadium during the tournament.

To put things into perspective, BMO Field's usual game-day rate is $30 for Toronto FC games and $25 for Toronto Argonauts games, with a standard price of $15 - but prices can vary due to other events in the area.

In fact, parking at the Exhibition Grounds during a recent Imagine Dragons concert cost $30, and fans might be getting off easy with the $75 price tag compared to other venues, where prices can be as high as $300 and involve a 30-minute walk to the stadium.

In San Francisco, for example, parking lots are listed at $137.95 and $203.45, with estimated walks of 14-21 minutes from the stadium - while in Los Angeles, parking for a match can cost $300 and be located 2.7 km away.

The exorbitant parking prices come on the heels of soccer fans already expressing outrage over the cost of tickets for World Cup games, with Category 1 tickets still priced at $3,135 each and Category 3 "cheap seats" listed at $1,370.

With many fans likely to be priced out of parking and tickets, some may be considering public transit as an alternative - and Metrolinx has announced plans to increase GO Transit train service on the Lakeshore West line during FIFA World Cup matches.

Up to six trains will operate per hour between Exhibition GO and Union Station before and after matches, with frequent 15-minute service throughout most of the day on both the Lakeshore East and West lines starting on June 10.

The TTC has also tested its planned increase in World Cup service on its lines, with 45,000 people attending a recent Toronto FC match and 41,000 at Rogers Centre - and fans are hoping that public transit will be a viable option for getting to and from the games.
