A man in Trent Lakes, Ontario, now faces serious drug and weapons charges, but his apparent connections to a notorious biker club are drawing intense scrutiny.
Joshua Fawcett, 39, was recently arrested by the Ontario Provincial Police after an investigation uncovered a significant cache of weapons – 53 long rifles – alongside 278 grams of cocaine and a substantial amount of cash. Authorities suspected Fawcett illegally possessed firearms despite a prior prohibition order.
The search warrant executed on April 8th targeted a building on Bessie Ave., the same address listed for Fawcett Excavating, a business linked to a Joshua Fawcett through online profiles. Details, including a matching birthdate, suggest a clear connection to the accused.
Fawcett is now facing multiple charges, including possession of firearms contrary to a prohibition, careless storage of weapons, and cocaine possession for the purpose of trafficking. The value of the seized proceeds of crime exceeds $5,000.
Despite these legal challenges, evidence suggests Fawcett is closely aligned with the recently revived Satan’s Choice motorcycle club and its new leader, Harley Guindon. A photograph surfaced online depicting Fawcett proudly wearing the club’s patch alongside Guindon during a trip to Bali, Indonesia.
The image, shared on a Facebook account believed to belong to Fawcett, shows the two men relaxing by a pool, further solidifying their apparent camaraderie. Fawcett frequently engages with Guindon’s social media posts, openly displaying his support.
Just days before his arrest, Fawcett publicly declared his loyalty to Guindon in a Facebook post, stating, “I’m proud to say Harley Guindon is one of my brothers.” He expressed unwavering belief in Guindon and the club’s resurgence, emphasizing a deep bond of mutual support.
This public display of allegiance comes as Guindon actively rebuilds Satan’s Choice, a club originally founded by his father in 1965. The club dissolved into the Hells Angels in 2000, but Guindon resurrected it last summer, securing his father’s blessing and honorary membership.
Guindon’s efforts to revive Satan’s Choice haven’t been without friction. He’s acknowledged personal disputes with members of the Hells Angels, though he maintains he isn’t engaged in a full-scale war with the organization. However, his business, Harley G’s clothing store in Oshawa, has become a target of violence.
In February, shots were fired at the store, shattering windows. A week later, two sixteen-year-olds were arrested after allegedly attempting to break into the store with a hammer and ignite an incendiary device, highlighting the escalating tensions surrounding the club’s revival.
