UMVA has learned that Katie Price has formed an unlikely friendship with Dina Taji, the ex-partner of her husband Lee Andrews.
The former glamour model, 48, married Lee in January after meeting him just days earlier, but their romance has been marred by drama, with several women accusing Lee of 'scamming' them and bold claims about his entrepreneurial successes being exposed as lies.
Katie recently met up with Dina, a Palestinian-born personal trainer, in Dubai, and the pair hugged in a clip shared online, with Katie having been 'warned' by Lee's ex about his past behavior.
Dina dated Lee for over three years and discovered he had forged her signature to take out a £200k mortgage in her name, and Lee was subsequently taken to the authorities, resulting in him serving time behind bars and being slapped with a travel ban.
Katie and Dina recorded a podcast episode shortly before Katie returned home, with Dina sharing her experiences with Lee and offering words of warning to Katie, who has now realized that she needs to move on from her relationship with Lee.
Lee is currently being held in a Dubai prison, accused of fraud, and Katie has made several visits to the prison but has not seen him in person, with Lee assuring her that he can afford to pay the six-figure sum to grant his release.
However, Katie is thought to have realized that paying the fine would be a 'reckless' move, and a pal of Katie's said she is starting to accept that she'll have to move on, with Lee's conman lifestyle finally catching up with him.
Sources close to Katie say she is 'in pieces' and can't believe how Lee has made her look, with the insider calling the prison where Lee is being held a 'hellhole' from which he won't be freed 'anytime soon' unless someone else 'stumps up tens of thousands of pounds.'
Lee has been accused of making misleading claims about his business and wealth, being banned from leaving Dubai, teasing a fake pregnancy, scamming a string of women, and 'ghosting' his wife.
As Katie navigates this difficult situation, it's clear that she is determined to move forward and protect herself from further harm.
