President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. maintains confidence in Public Works Secretary Vivencio “Vince” B. Dizon amid a National Bureau of Investigation probe into alleged irregularities in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.
Malacañang stated on Monday that the President continues to trust all members of his Cabinet.
Officials emphasized that the President’s confidence remains intact as long as no evidence links any Cabinet member to corrupt activities.
Dizon previously led the Bases Conversion and Development Authority and may be called to testify in the ongoing NBI investigation.
The Office of the Ombudsman had earlier dismissed a case concerning the 2019 SEA Games sports facilities against Dizon due to insufficient evidence.
