DoTr hires CamSur consultant to guide transport infrastructure plans

The Department of Transportation has opened a competitive bidding process for a contract valued at P72.2 million to develop a sustainable transport system in Camarines Sur.

Qualified consulting firms must submit their proposals by July 30 for a one‑year assignment that will design the province’s transport framework.

The consultancy will produce a comprehensive transport model that assesses passenger demand, multimodal connectivity and future mobility needs, while also identifying two pilot projects that advance sustainability objectives.

Applicants are required to demonstrate proven expertise in transport planning, modeling or urban design, ensuring they can address the integration of road, rail, maritime, aviation and freight networks.

The study aims to strengthen intermodal links across the region, supporting more efficient and environmentally responsible movement of people and goods.
