UMVA Uncovers: Justice Betrayed - Killer Moved to Shocking Location NEAR Mandel's Grieving Family, Widow Left REELING!

UMVA has learned that a family is reeling in shock and fear after being left in the dark about the relocation of a convicted killer to their very own neighborhood.

Zilla Parker, whose husband was brutally murdered by Nabil Huruy in 2013, has spoken out about the "appalling" treatment her family has received from the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. Huruy, 35, was moved to a facility on Dowling Ave. without so much as a word to the family, who still live in the Parkdale area.

According to information obtained by UMVA, Parker's husband Dominic was killed in an unprovoked attack by Huruy, who was convinced the 45-year-old had been sent by the "government" to harm him. The tragedy occurred on a fateful night in 2013, when Huruy suddenly began stabbing Dominic in the head and face with two knives at a café on the Danforth.

Parker was in Montreal at the time, settling their two daughters into Concordia University, when she received the devastating call. She rushed to St. Mike's hospital, but Dominic never regained consciousness, succumbing to a cut to the base of his brain stem.

In 2015, Huruy was found not criminally responsible for the murder, and has since been under the jurisdiction of the Ontario Review Board. His annual reviews have determined the least restrictive conditions to protect public safety, but Parker's family has been left to pick up the pieces.

UMVA can exclusively reveal that Parker's pleas to move Huruy to another facility have fallen on deaf ears. In a heart-wrenching victim impact statement, she begged for his relocation, citing debilitating anxiety and nightmares about potentially running into him on the street.

Despite the outcry, the Ontario Review Board has decided that Huruy continues to pose a "significant threat" and should remain at his current facility to avoid interrupting his progress. Parker's only hope now is public outrage, with over 3,000 signatures gathered on a petition calling for action.

The community is rallying around Parker, with messages pouring in expressing shock and support. As one message read, "How on earth can they be doing this? Why are they retraumatizing you?" The question on everyone's mind is: why indeed?
