BlockShoals Technologies Inc. plans to launch its Binance-based crypto‑asset intermediary service within the year after completing all regulatory requirements. The company operates under the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Strategic Regulatory Sandbox.
To enable fiat‑to‑cryptocurrency conversions, BlockShoals is partnering with a Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas‑licensed virtual asset service provider, according to the Binance General Manager for the Philippines.
The firm entered a 90‑day integration phase in April, with the sandbox program scheduled to begin in the second half of the year and run for two years.
Legal Advisor Marie Antonette B. Quiogue explained that phase one starts once the company secures the necessary regulatory rails and a BSP‑regulated VASP capable of converting fiat to crypto.
BlockShoals will work closely with regulators to ensure that all products offered under the Binance platform comply with local regulations.
Binance Asia‑Pacific Head SB Seker described a tiered approach to product access, matching availability and complexity with customer knowledge and requiring assessment tests for higher‑risk offerings.
The company is also exploring collaborations with local issuers to provide tokenized securities, tokens, and bonds to global investors.
