UMVA has learned that a tragic incident unfolded in the quiet suburban street of Dale Grove, North Finchley, where a 19-year-old woman lost her life in a shocking turn of events.

The Met Police are now searching for 21-year-old James Duncan, who is believed to have been known to the victim, as part of their investigation into her murder.

Specialist officers are providing support to the victim's family, and Detective Chief Inspector Allam Bhangoo, leading the investigation, has urged anyone with information about James Duncan's whereabouts or relevant footage to come forward and assist the police.

Residents in the area described the community as "reeling" following Monday's events, with one long-time resident, Resham Singh, expressing shock and sadness, saying: "There's never been any problem at the house before. We can't believe a 19-year-old has been killed."

Another neighbor, Faz Saj, also shared her disbelief, stating: "I'm absolutely gobsmacked about what has happened. It's a quiet family street. It's a big shock."
