TOXIC TRAP: Deadly Bait Threatens London Dogs – Hunt Is ON!

A wave of fear has gripped dog walkers in Holland Park and Brompton Cemetery as reports surface of deliberately poisoned meat left scattered throughout the green spaces.

The discovery over the weekend sparked immediate alarm, with dog owners frantically sharing information and warnings through a dedicated WhatsApp group, desperately scanning for anything suspicious their beloved pets might encounter.

Professional dog walker Daniel Palfi expressed the collective anxiety, stating the situation is “very worrying” and demanding swift action to apprehend the individual responsible for these “disgusting” acts.

Kailu Stabile, walking her Lurcher Moriarty, voiced the chilling thought that even a non-scavenging dog could be at risk, highlighting the pervasive sense of dread now hanging over the park.

Police have responded by increasing patrols, a vehicle now visibly circling Holland Park, and meticulously reviewing CCTV footage, including from the Belvedere restaurant, in an attempt to identify the perpetrator.

The fear isn’t limited to Holland Park; similar concerns are echoing through Brompton Cemetery, where visitors and dog walkers alike are calling the poisonings an act of “desecration.”

Steven Murray, walking his French Bulldog Betty, described the situation as “horrible and very sad,” expressing a deep concern that someone could harbor such animosity towards animals.

One dog owner, walking her Lurchers Tarka and Raffy, speculated about a possible personal vendetta driving the malicious acts, adding to the unsettling mystery.

Even a long-time resident seeking solace in the cemetery expressed outrage, stating that poisoning a graveyard is a profound violation of peace and respect.

Carlotta Pironti, with her Cavapoo Nelson, articulated the helplessness felt by many, acknowledging the difficulty of preventing dogs from investigating tempting morsels on the ground.

The motive behind these disturbing incidents remains unknown, but authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward, appealing for assistance in bringing the responsible party to justice.

The community remains on high alert, united in their determination to protect their four-legged companions and restore a sense of safety to these cherished public spaces.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
