UMVA has learned that a shocking incident in central London last year has led to charges against two individuals, Melissa Rein Lively and Phillipp Ostermann, with allegations of assault and racially aggravated public order offenses.
The charges stem from a disturbing confrontation where the woman allegedly grabbed the victim's hair, and the man is said to have pulled out a small bottle, claiming it was pepper spray, before spraying it towards the family. Fortunately, the family reported no ill effects from the spray.
Rein Lively, a vocal supporter of Donald Trump and the Make America Great Again movement, is a well-known figure, having founded an America First PR agency that provides 'anti-woke' services. Her high-profile connections and past ambitions, including a bid for the White House spokesperson job in Trump's second term, have drawn significant attention to this case.
Ostermann, a venture capitalist and associate director of a Munich-based private equity company called Aequita, with offices in Tokyo and South Carolina, is also facing serious allegations. The couple was reportedly spotted in London around October 11 before leaving the country, raising questions about their actions and motivations.
British Transport Police have confirmed that Philipp Ostermann, 37, a German national, has been charged with two racially aggravated public order offenses and a further public order offense. Melissa Rein Lively, 40, a US national, has been charged with one count of assault by beating. The first hearing is scheduled to take place at Westminster Magistrates' Court on May 19.
