This isn’t just about adding power; it’s about redefining reliability. MTerra Solar has also activated its first battery storage tranche, capable of releasing up to 450 megawatt-hours of energy even after the sun sets, ensuring a consistent flow of electricity.

Spanning the provinces of Bulacan and Nueva Ecija, the massive P200-billion MTerra Solar project is designed to ultimately generate an astounding 3,500 megawatt-peak of solar power. This will be bolstered by a 4,500-MWh battery energy storage system, creating a truly resilient power source.
While currently in its development phases, full commercial operations are slated for 2027. Upon completion, this single project is projected to provide enough clean energy to power approximately 2.4 million homes.
