CLINTON EXPLODES: Iran Deal COLLAPSES – Vance DESTROYED! (Watch Now)

The aftermath of stalled negotiations with Iran ignited a sharp exchange, as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton publicly criticized Vice President JD Vance’s efforts. Clinton’s remarks came after Vance announced a breakdown in 21 hours of direct talks held in Islamabad, a situation she framed as a failure of fundamental diplomatic practice.

Appearing on a morning news program, Clinton pointedly stated that successful diplomacy requires more than simply “showing up” and engaging in lengthy discussions. She emphasized the need for “hard, disciplined effort,” implicitly suggesting Vance’s approach lacked the necessary depth and preparation for such a complex undertaking.

Vance, however, had presented a different narrative. He described the discussions as “substantive” but ultimately unsuccessful, asserting that the lack of an agreement was more detrimental to Iran than to the United States. He maintained that the US clearly communicated its non-negotiable demands throughout the intensive talks.

The core of the US position, as articulated by Vance, centered on securing an unequivocal commitment from Iran to forgo the pursuit of nuclear weapons and the means to rapidly develop them. This demand, he explained, was the paramount objective of the President and the driving force behind the negotiations.

Specific US demands reportedly included a complete cessation of uranium enrichment, the dismantling of major nuclear facilities, and the return of highly enriched uranium. Beyond nuclear concerns, the US sought an end to Iran’s funding of regional militant groups and a guarantee of free passage through the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz.

According to reports, Iran ultimately refused to accept these terms. Vance stated they “chose not to accept our terms,” leaving a significant impasse in the ongoing efforts to curb Iran’s nuclear ambitions and regional influence.

In a swift response to the failed negotiations, President Trump authorized a naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway for global oil supplies. The blockade, set to begin the following day, would apply to all vessels entering or departing Iranian ports, with exceptions made for ships traveling to and from non-Iranian destinations.

The move signaled a firm stance against Iran and a willingness to escalate pressure in the wake of the diplomatic breakdown. CENTCOM officials emphasized the blockade would be enforced impartially, impacting maritime traffic from all nations.

The situation underscored the high stakes involved in containing Iran’s nuclear program and maintaining stability in the volatile Middle East. The failed talks and subsequent blockade represented a significant turning point, raising questions about the future of US-Iran relations and the potential for further escalation.
