The recordings, captured in 2016 and 2017 while Biden worked on his memoirs, were seized during Special Counsel Robert Hur’s 2023 probe into the handling of classified documents. They now sit at the center of a heated battle over transparency and personal privacy.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the tapes allegedly reveal Biden discussing sensitive material and showing signs of cognitive decline—details Democrats fought fiercely to suppress during the 2024 election.
Trump reposted the lawsuit details on his social platform, adding his trademark exclamation, “A Crooked Politician!!!” The repost amplified a growing controversy that pits national security concerns against the right to private family conversations.
