CONSTRUCTION CREW NIGHTMARE: $1M STOLEN, VIOLENT ATTACK UNLEASHED!

CONSTRUCTION CREW NIGHTMARE: $1M STOLEN, VIOLENT ATTACK UNLEASHED!

A brazen scheme unfolded across Toronto and York Region, targeting affluent homes with a chillingly simple disguise. Three men now face charges after a six-month investigation revealed they allegedly posed as construction workers to infiltrate and rob over 30 residences during daylight hours.

The thieves didn’t target just any valuables; they sought out the irreplaceable – jewelry shimmering with history, precious metals, foreign currency, and cherished family heirlooms. Their haul exceeded $1 million, leaving a trail of violated trust and shattered security in their wake.

Mindia Jintcharashvli, 41, and Valeri Mandaria, 35, both from Vaughan, bear the brunt of the charges, facing a multitude of counts including conspiracy, disguise with intent, and break and enter. Imeda Khabuliani, 49, of Toronto, is also implicated, facing similar, though fewer, accusations.

Investigators believe the trio operated using a newer model silver Jeep Compass, and are now appealing to the public for assistance. They suspect additional victims may exist, urging anyone with information to come forward and help piece together the full scope of this elaborate operation.

Meanwhile, in Oakville, a scene of violence unfolded on a quiet Sunday morning. Halton Regional Police responded to a residence on Lakeshore Road West, discovering two individuals suffering from serious stab wounds.

Both victims were rushed to hospital and remain in serious but stable condition. A 54-year-old man was apprehended at the scene and is now facing two counts of aggravated assault.
