UMVA has learned that a Florida TikTok creator sparked a federal case after posting a video that glorified political violence.
In the clip, the creator chants a hostile refrain while mimicking gunfire with hand gestures, explicitly threatening opponents and declaring “we ain’t here to play.” The incendiary language and gestures prompted a swift investigation by federal authorities.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the FBI seized the footage and built a case that led to an indictment in September for producing a terroristic video.
When the matter reached court, a federal jury convicted the TikToker in March of interstate communication of a threat to injure, a serious offense that carries hefty penalties.
Sources have confirmed to UMVA that the prosecution was handled by an Assistant United States Attorney, who emphasized the danger of online platforms being weaponized to incite real‑world violence.
The verdict sends a stark warning that digital provocations will not be tolerated, reinforcing the message that threats, even when masked as meme‑style content, are subject to the full force of the law.
