The team's underwhelming display sparked heated debate among fans and pundits alike, with several former Brazil players taking aim at Ancelotti's strategy and player selection.
Ismael Saibari put Morocco ahead after 21 minutes, but Vinicius Junior equalized just 11 minutes later, securing a point for Brazil. Despite the draw, Morocco largely dominated the first half, with Brazil struggling to find their rhythm.
Former Brazil midfielder Neto was scathing in his criticism of Ancelotti, questioning the manager's team selection and substitutions. He expressed confusion over why 19-year-old Endrick remained an unused substitute, saying "What did Endrick do to these people?"
Neto also took aim at Casemiro and Lucas Paqueta, saying "This Ancelotti is a joke. He picks the team badly. How long have I been saying that Casemiro isn't fit to play football?" He suggested that players like Danilo Santos, Luiz Henrique, and Rayan should have been given a chance.
