The search for two missing boys continues after they vanished from a New Jersey train station on Friday, with authorities urging anyone who encounters them to contact the police immediately.
According to the police department, 14-year-old Brayden Morrissey and Dominic Diliberto, also 14, disappeared from the Denville Train Station at about 5:30 p.m. local time on Friday, along with 17-year-old William Connolly.
Chief of Police Andrew Caggiano reported that the Metropolitan Transportation Authority later spotted the three teens at a train station in Stamford, Connecticut.
MTA officers took Connolly into protective custody, while Morrissey and Diliberto fled the scene.
Police have described Morrissey as wearing a green hoodie, dark sweatpants, and white sneakers, and Diliberto as wearing black clothing.
Authorities are urging any agency that makes contact with the boys to call the police department immediately.
The incident occurred in Montville Township, a suburban community in Morris County, approximately 30 miles west of New York City.
