Salceda Named Chief of Public Liability and Loss Office

President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. has named former Albay Representative Joey S. Salceda to lead the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office.

The PLLO functions as the executive branch’s primary conduit to Congress, coordinating the administration’s legislative agenda with lawmakers across the country.

Salceda previously chaired the House Ways and Means Committee, where he helped draft several tax reform measures during his time in Congress.

In a statement, he highlighted time as the most valuable resource for the administration and pledged to tackle the remaining major items of the president’s policy agenda.

The appointment underscores the administration’s focus on strengthening legislative collaboration to advance its policy goals.
