TRUMP'S GOLDEN DOME: $1.5 TRILLION MILITARY GRAB!

TRUMP'S GOLDEN DOME: $1.5 TRILLION MILITARY GRAB!

A staggering $1.5 trillion defence budget has been proposed, representing a nearly 50% increase in military spending and potentially the largest since the Cold War era.

The ambitious plan, revealed by the Pentagon, is currently facing an uphill battle for Congressional approval, but its implications are far-reaching.

At the heart of this massive request are several of Donald Trump’s signature projects, including a futuristic naval fleet dubbed the ‘Golden Fleet’ and a colossal missile defence system known as the ‘Golden Dome.’

The ‘Golden Dome’ project, initially estimated at $130 billion, draws inspiration from Israel’s Iron Dome but envisions a far more extensive and technologically advanced shield against potential attacks from nations like Russia and China.

This isn’t simply a ground-based system; the plan incorporates a vast network of surveillance satellites and a separate fleet designed to intercept missiles immediately after launch.

Proposed locations for the ‘Golden Dome’ infrastructure span across multiple states – Alaska, Florida, Georgia, and Indiana – promising significant involvement from various defence and technology companies.

Beyond the ‘Golden Dome,’ the budget allocates $75 billion towards the development and deployment of unmanned weapons systems, encompassing everything from surface vessels to advanced drones.

A critical driver of this increased spending is the urgent need to replenish the US arsenal of long-range strike and air defence missiles, which have reached dangerously low levels.

The Army stands to receive over $20 billion specifically for acquiring additional THAAD and Patriot missile interceptors, bolstering the nation’s ability to defend against ballistic missile threats.

THAAD, a sophisticated system utilizing radar and interceptors, is capable of neutralizing short, medium, and intermediate-range ballistic missiles within a 124-mile radius.

Each THAAD battery, operated by a team of 95 soldiers, represents a substantial investment, costing between $1 billion and $1.8 billion, with existing deployments already in place, including one in South Korea.

The proposed budget signifies a dramatic shift in defence priorities, reflecting a renewed focus on technological superiority and a proactive approach to national security.
