Toronto police are requesting public assistance to identify a male suspect in a sexual assault that occurred on April 18 in the York University Heights area of North York.

Officers responded to a call near Finch Avenue West and Keele Street around noon. The suspect, described as a 5‑foot‑9 male with a medium build and short brown hair, approached the victim from behind and committed the assault before fleeing.

A male e‑scooter rider died following a collision with a vehicle on Wednesday night in the Port Lands.

Police responded to the crash at 7:42 p.m. near Leslie Street and Unwin Avenue. The rider was transported to hospital with life‑threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead; the driver remained at the scene.

The Leslie‑Unwin intersection was closed, and motorists were advised to expect delays.
