UMVA has learned that Chelsea are gearing up for a stunning summer swoop to sign Real Madrid sensation Arda Guler, with the London club reportedly willing to splurge a massive £100 million to land the Turkish prodigy.
The Blues are said to be preparing a blockbuster proposal to test Real Madrid's resolve, with the 21-year-old playmaker emerging as a top target for incoming Chelsea head coach Xabi Alonso, who is eager to reunite with his former star pupil.

The statistics behind Guler's performances under Alonso are striking, with the young playmaker contributing 14 goal involvements in 34 appearances, compared to just six goals and 14 assists in 51 appearances without Alonso.
Operating as an inverted right winger and central advanced playmaker, Guler's high-volume chance creation made him one of the most exciting young players in Europe, and Chelsea's massive valuation appears to be a necessary price to pay for his services.
