The new Siri AI will access up-to-date web information, delivering answers on virtually any topic and assisting with research, interview preparation, and rapid learning.
App actions and automation expand Siri’s reach into Messages, Music, Reminders and other apps, permitting natural‑language commands to edit messages, manage playlists, create reminders and perform other tasks without manual navigation.

macOS 27 supports the MacBook Neo, MacBook Air and Pro (Apple silicon 2020 onward), iMac (2021 onward), Mac mini (2020 onward), Mac Studio (2022 onward) and Mac Pro (2023 onward). Certain Siri AI features require an M3 chip with at least 12 GB of unified memory.
The developer beta is scheduled for June 8 2026, the public beta for July 13 2026, and the final release is expected in September 2026, likely around September 14.
Apple advises most users to wait for the public beta, while developers may opt into the developer program; a complete backup is recommended before installing any beta version.
Intel‑based Macs will not receive macOS 27, and support for Rosetta 2 ends, marking the final stage of Apple’s transition away from Intel architecture.
