
A 23-year-old Milton man is accused of trafficking property obtained by crime after he was allegedly caught with more than $300,000 in stolen perfumes and colognes.
Toronto Police said officers from the 22 Division major crime unit began an investigation Sept. 29 into multiple thefts reported by various retailers across the city.
The investigation led to the execution of a Criminal Code search warrant Monday at a Milton residence.
“It is alleged that during the search warrant, 1,880 bottles of high-end perfumes and colognes were seized worth approximately $319,000,” Const. Viktor Sarudi said in a statement released Wednesday.

Issam Ahmad is charged with trafficking in proceeds of property or thing obtained by crime exceeding $5,000, possession of proceeds of property or thing obtained by crime exceeding $5,000 and possession of proceeds of property or thing obtained by crime for trafficking exceeding $5,000.
