There will be at least 40,000 people at each World Series game at Rogers Centre over the coming days.
But due to obvious ticket sale prices, everyone else will be watching from a special venue or in their very own homes.
For those who are hosting a Blue Jays watch-party, look no further for ideas on how to stand out and make your house the place to be — other than the former Skydome, of course.
DÉCOR
Blue and white is the obvious choice for your colour theme, but you also can’t go wrong with throwing maple leafs and a little red into the mix.
Find a Tim Hortons location that still has the large Blue Jays cups left.
You can get them for 10 cents a cup, then channel your inner Martha Stewart and make string lights with them – or play beer pong, depending on your guests.
Also, strategically place baseballs, bats and gloves around your entertaining space.
Just make sure there are no Dodgers fans in the house. Things could get ugly.
VIEWING
Ensure you have a great TV – or TVs – to watch it on.
If an outdoor watch party is an option, you can “open the dome,” bundle up, and settle in to watch the action under the stars.
Get “rally towels” from the dollar store for when things get exciting and you need to get (respectably) loud.

FOOD AND DRINKS
Serve ballpark-style eats, from hot dogs and sausages, sliders and tacos, and pizza slices and a poutine table with various toppings.
You can also throw popcorn in cartons from the dollar store and divvy up helpings of cotton candy into cups for kids of all ages.
For beverages, make alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions of “Blue Jays Bombs” – aka blue Jello shooters.
And get a wide assortment of beer – which you can tag at crazy price points as a joke.
GAMES AND ENTERTAINMENT
Use cardboard to create a DIY scoreboard for selfies that will undoubtedly be shared on social media.
Set up a trivia challenge with past World Series stats, or create a game of Bingo where if something is said during the broadcast, or a hit is made, people can fill out their cards.
While you’re at it, include a hot dog-eating contest for all the hungry fans in the house.
Don’t forget prizes for the winners, such as Jays hats or T-shirts.

ATTIRE
Ensure everyone is either wearing Blue Jays gear or has on blue and white to match the decor.
Have an award ready for the “Fan of the Game.”
If it’s from the Jays Shop, even better.
