FLORIDA TERROR PLOT UNRAVELED: 'GENOCIDE' THREATS LAND MAN IN JAIL!

FLORIDA TERROR PLOT UNRAVELED: 'GENOCIDE' THREATS LAND MAN IN JAIL!

A wave of chilling threats recently surfaced in Palm Beach County, Florida, stemming from a recently terminated employee. Authorities say Michael Iaboni, 32, allegedly unleashed a torrent of online vitriol directed at local churches and potentially, anyone who stood in his path.

The investigation began with a crucial tip to Crime Stoppers, quickly leading to Iaboni’s arrest. Detectives discovered a disturbing pattern of social media posts, fueled by anger over his job loss and escalating into explicit threats against places of worship.

On November 4th, Iaboni posted a video declaring, “I got fired and I’m fired up.” The statement was immediately followed by a disturbing simulation of firing a weapon, accompanied by the ominous phrase, “It’s all kill shot.” The video was swiftly deleted, but not before capturing the attention of investigators.

His online rant didn’t stop there. Iaboni reportedly expressed a chilling acceptance of potential violence, stating he wouldn’t take his own life but understood the “dangerous” nature of those he intended to target. He specifically named Christ Fellowship as a target, vowing to “take you out.”

The posts grew increasingly dark, hinting at widespread violence. A subsequent post on November 7th ominously predicted a scene “gonna look like a genocide,” painting a terrifying picture of his intentions. The language was stark, and the implications deeply unsettling.

Adding another layer of concern, investigators learned Iaboni resides just 1.5 miles from Christ Fellowship. He had even proactively signed up for a church event, a “Journey” gathering, just days before the threats surfaced, seemingly gathering information.

Church staff, noticing Iaboni’s recent presence, alerted Palm Beach Gardens police, raising early concerns about his behavior. This proactive step proved vital in connecting the dots and accelerating the investigation.

Iaboni now faces charges of written threats to kill or do bodily harm. He is currently being held on a $250,000 bond, as authorities continue to assess the full scope of the threat and ensure public safety.
