BOAT HORROR: Stunning Woman's Fate Revealed!

BOAT HORROR: Stunning Woman's Fate Revealed!

The quiet Welsh coastal town of Cardigan is reeling, shrouded in grief after the discovery of 21-year-old Corinna Rose. Her body was found aboard a vessel nestled within the aging Netpool Boat Yard, a place steeped in the history of seafaring and now, tragically, loss.

The boat yard itself is a relic of a bygone era, surrounded by former fishermen’s cottages that fell silent over two decades ago. Though largely abandoned, a handful of boats remain occupied, their occupants unknowingly witnessing a tragedy unfold. A simple black tarpulin, neighbors noted, covered one of the vessels – a detail now heavy with sorrow.

Corinna’s family is utterly heartbroken, remembering her as a vibrant spirit, a “fun-loving” soul, and their “dearest angel.” The pain is raw, the loss immeasurable, and they’ve asked for privacy as they navigate this unimaginable grief.

Her sister, Caitlyn, poured out her anguish online, writing of a beautiful, funny, and stubbornly independent angel now entering heaven’s gates. Another sister, Shante, expressed a regret that echoes in the hearts of many who lose someone too soon – the wish for more time to express the depth of their love.

The discovery occurred near the mouth of the River Teifi estuary, a location that once symbolized life and passage, now marked by a devastating end. The weight of the tragedy is felt throughout the community, so much so that the local pub has closed its doors, a gesture of respect and mourning for a “death in the family.”

A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, casting a long shadow over the investigation. Police are meticulously piecing together the events leading up to Corinna’s death, seeking any information that might illuminate the darkness.

A young woman described as a "beautiful angel" was killed after being invited onto a boat in a seaside town - and a suspect has been arrested for her murder. Tragic Corinna Baker, 21, was found dead onboard a vessel moored at a former boat-building yard in the Welsh coastal town of Cardigan. Locals say she was last seen before going to the boat yard on Thursday night and her body was found on Saturday afternoon. Detectives say an unamed man, 29, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in custody. Her sister Caitlyn said: "Heaven has the most beautiful, funny, stubborn angel entering the gates." Police are appealing for help from anyone around the area of the Netpool Boat Yard from Thursday night who may have seen anything suspicious. Locals say fun-loving Corinna went out on Thursday with friends but never returned home. A witness said a boat was covered in black tarpaulin to be taken away by police for examination. There are a series of former fishermen's cottages around the boatyard site which closed more than 20 years ago. Some of the boats in the yard are occupied. The boatyard sits in the mouth of the River Teifi estuary in the 4,000-population town - and is a favourite of anglers and visitors. Shocked locals were stunned at the tragedy because her family are well-known in the close knit town for running a local pub for years. One woman living nearby said: "She was such a sweet girl, she really was. Our thoughts are with her family." Another said: "That poor family will be in bits. She was a sweetheart and lovely - so young." A Dyfed Powys police spokesperson said: "There continues to be an increased Police presence in Cardigan, following the discovery of a body of a woman in Netpool Boat Yard, Cardigan at approx. 12.35pm yesterday afternoon (Saturday, November 15). "One man, aged 29 has been arrested on suspicion of murder. "The woman?s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. "Police continue to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and are particularly interested in speaking with anybody who may have been at the location, or may have seen anyone at the location, from around 9pm on Thursday 13, November. "Anyone with any information that could assist us with our investigation are asked to get in touch." Locals in the West Wales coastal town reported a hive of police activity around the boat yard site. One said: "There were police cars everywhere - it is obviously very serious and not what you expect in such a quiet place." Officers cordoned off the Netpool slipway and nearby access roads. Late on Saturday night, a boat covered in black plastic sheeting was removed from the scene as part of the ongoing forensic investigation. WALES NEWS SERVICE
