TRUMP'S HANDS ARE STAINED: Dem Slams Him for Guard Deaths! (SEE VIDEO)

A shadow fell over Washington, D.C. on Wednesday with the cold-blooded murder of two National Guard members, just a stone’s throw from the White House. The sudden violence sent shockwaves through the nation’s capital and ignited a fierce debate about security and responsibility.

Authorities quickly identified the suspect as 29-year-old Rahmanullah Lakanwal, an Afghan national. His arrival in the United States on September 8, 2021, came through Operation Allies Welcome, a program initiated following the tumultuous withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan.

During a CNN interview on Friday, Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz voiced a stark accusation: former President Trump bears responsibility for this tragedy. She questioned whether the events would have unfolded if not for policies enacted during his administration.

Wasserman Schultz argued that the president should be examining the potential consequences of his own decisions. She specifically questioned the deployment of military troops to cities, particularly without close coordination with local law enforcement, suggesting it created a target.

The Congresswoman emphasized the need for a reassessment of military deployments within urban centers, advocating for law enforcement to handle domestic criminal justice issues. She also called for renewed focus on addressing gun violence and strengthening vetting processes for individuals entering the country.

Wasserman Schultz expressed strong disapproval of the current administration’s response, stating the president consistently deflects blame rather than acknowledging potential flaws in his own policies. She characterized this pattern as “disgusting.”

In the wake of the shooting, a swift response emerged from the previous administration. Plans are underway to intensify immigration restrictions from Afghanistan and conduct a thorough review of green cards issued during the prior administration.

The Department of State immediately suspended visa issuance for Afghan passport holders, citing the urgent need to safeguard U.S. national security and public safety. This decisive action underscores the gravity of the situation and the commitment to preventing future incidents.
