SAVAGE ATTACK: Monster Blinds Man in Pub Horror!

The grainy footage captured a moment of brutal violence, a senseless act that irrevocably altered a man’s life. David Brown, now 40, deliberately extinguished a lit cigarette directly into the eye of a disabled man, an attack born of a petty dispute and fueled by malice.

The victim, a man in his 30s already navigating life with physical limitations stemming from a workplace accident, endured agonizing pain and lasting damage. The assault, occurring on December 29, 2023, resulted in significant injuries to his right eye, necessitating repeated and ongoing hospital treatment.

Brown initially denied the charge of grievous bodily harm with intent, attempting to evade responsibility for his horrific actions. However, a trial at Nottingham Crown Court in October revealed the truth, leading to a guilty verdict.

On November 28th, Brown was sentenced to four and a half years in prison, a consequence for the unprovoked and cowardly attack. The court heard the incident stemmed from a prior disagreement over money, escalating into an act of shocking brutality.

The impact extended far beyond the victim’s physical suffering. He now lives in constant fear, forced to abandon his home in Hucknall, unable to feel safe in his own community. His parents have also borne a heavy burden, sacrificing work to provide the care he desperately needs.

Police Constable Oskar Sereda emphasized the severity of the crime, acknowledging the unimaginable pain inflicted and the lasting emotional and physical trauma. He also expressed gratitude to the quick-thinking individuals within the pub who intervened, preventing further harm and assisting officers upon their arrival.
