ELITE SABOTAGE: They're Deliberately Dividing America!

ELITE SABOTAGE: They're Deliberately Dividing America!

A deepening crisis plagues the United States, one that extends far beyond border security and policy debates. According to a leading immigration expert, the core issue isn’t simply *how many* people are entering the country, but *whether* they are becoming American.

Mark Krikorian, a highly respected authority on immigration, argues that a fundamental shift in American leadership has created an environment where assimilation is actively discouraged. He believes a pervasive “identity problem” has taken root, transforming the very idea of embracing American values into something almost shameful.

The problem, Krikorian insists, doesn’t originate with those seeking a new life in America. Instead, it stems from a leadership class – in government, business, education, and even religion – that seems unsure if being American is even a desirable goal. This uncertainty erodes the foundation of national identity.

He paints a stark picture: the concept of nationhood itself is losing meaning. Living in the United States, in this view, is no different than living anywhere else in the world – a mere geographical location devoid of shared values or a common purpose. This perspective fundamentally alters the approach to immigration.

A growing sentiment, Krikorian explains, views immigration law itself as unjust, akin to historical discriminatory practices. If opening borders is considered a moral imperative, then enforcing those borders – and removing those who enter illegally – is deemed immoral. This creates a paradoxical situation where successful assimilation becomes increasingly unlikely.

Krikorian recalls a time when American schools actively instilled a sense of national pride. His own mother, an immigrant’s daughter, memorized the Gettysburg Address and learned of George Washington’s legacy. He questions whether such lessons are still commonplace in today’s classrooms, suggesting a shift towards ambivalence, or even hostility, towards American ideals.

He believes that continuing to admit large numbers of people, even legally, is detrimental without a renewed commitment to Americanization. The United States currently holds the record for the highest percentage of foreign-born residents in its history, exceeding even the peak of the Ellis Island era. This unprecedented demographic shift demands a change in course.

Modern technology further complicates the process. Unlike previous generations, newcomers can now maintain constant contact with their homelands, lessening the need to fully integrate into their new communities. The emotional and psychological ties to the past remain strong, potentially hindering the development of a new American identity.

Krikorian envisions a potential turning point with the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026. He proposes a year-long initiative to reshape the national narrative, encouraging a renewed sense of American pride and purpose at all levels of society – from schools and churches to businesses and local communities.

He remains optimistic, pointing to America’s past successes in assimilating diverse populations. While the challenge is greater now, he believes it is not insurmountable. A conscious and concerted effort to embrace American identity, he argues, is the key to resolving the current immigration crisis and securing a unified future.
