PREDATOR RING SHATTERED: DOJ Rescues Children From 'Greggy's' Horrific Abuse!

PREDATOR RING SHATTERED: DOJ Rescues Children From 'Greggy's' Horrific Abuse!

A chilling online network, dubbed “Greggy’s Cult,” has been dismantled following the indictment of five men across the United States. Federal prosecutors allege the group systematically terrorized and blackmailed vulnerable individuals, driving them to acts of profound self-harm.

The charges – conspiracy to produce and distribute child pornography, and interstate threats – paint a horrifying picture of calculated cruelty. Hector Bermudez, Zachary Dosch, Rumaldo Valdez, David Brilhante, and Camden Rodriguez now face justice for their alleged roles in this disturbing enterprise.

Investigators describe a “nightmarish platform” where victims were repeatedly encouraged to inflict harm upon themselves, even directed to insert objects into their bodies. The alleged depravity extended beyond psychological torment, encompassing the production and distribution of deeply disturbing material.

The FBI asserts that these individuals believed they could hide behind the anonymity of the internet, but they were wrong. The agency vows to relentlessly pursue and hold accountable those who exploit and abuse others through online networks, no matter how deeply concealed.

Between January 2020 and January 2021, the defendants allegedly exploited both minors and adults, meeting on Discord servers to orchestrate their abuse. Victims, lured in through video calls, were coerced into performing degrading acts on camera.

The reach of “Greggy’s Cult” extended to popular gaming platforms like Roblox and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, where they actively sought out new targets. Screenshots and recordings of the abuse were then shared within the group and across other Discord servers.

Beyond the immediate acts of exploitation, the group allegedly engaged in extortion, attempting to frame adult victims as predators and deploying malware against minors to gain leverage. This allowed them to further manipulate and control their targets.

A particularly disturbing tactic involved forcing victims to demonstrate loyalty by being “owned” by a cult member or by writing the names of group members on their own bodies – a practice prosecutors chillingly refer to as “fansigning.”

Authorities emphasize that this network predates the emergence of the “764” group, another online child exploitation ring currently under intense FBI scrutiny. The investigation into “Greggy’s Cult” underscores the ongoing threat posed by these hidden corners of the internet.

The alleged actions are described as “monstrous,” with victims driven to the brink of suicide. The Department of Justice remains steadfast in its commitment to protecting children and holding accountable those who prey on the vulnerable, both online and offline.
