DHS NIGHTMARE: Terror Ties & Child Predators Among Evacuees!

DHS NIGHTMARE: Terror Ties & Child Predators Among Evacuees!

A chilling reality is emerging from the aftermath of the Afghanistan evacuation: individuals with deeply disturbing criminal histories were among those brought to the United States. These aren't isolated incidents, but a pattern revealing critical failures in the vetting process following the fall of Kabul.

The Department of Homeland Security has recently apprehended evacuees with convictions ranging from sexual battery and lewd acts involving minors, to arrests for alleged child-fondling. Even more alarming, some individuals are suspected of supporting terrorist organizations, painting a grim picture of the risks taken during the hurried evacuation efforts.

The situation escalated tragically when a former Afghan evacuee allegedly shot and killed two West Virginia National Guardsmen, and another was charged in a separate terror plot in Delaware. These events have ignited a firestorm of scrutiny, exposing the vulnerabilities within Operation Allies Welcome and the subsequent influx of evacuees.

Officials within the DHS now claim the Biden administration’s approach – described as “trust without verification” – directly contributed to this surge in criminal activity and potential threats. Background checks were minimal, social media was largely unvetted, and assurances were taken at face value, creating a dangerous loophole.

The arrests aren’t limited to Afghan nationals. Iraqi Ziaulhaq Faqiri, who entered the U.S. as a special immigrant, was also apprehended, revealing a history of “carnal abuse” and sexual assault. This underscores a broader concern about the thoroughness of vetting procedures for all individuals entering the country under these programs.

Qesmat Din Zafran, an evacuee from the mass exodus following Kabul’s fall, was recently arrested with convictions for lewd and lascivious acts with a minor. Similarly, Mansour Walizada, another participant in Operation Allies Refuge, faces charges of sexual battery and arrest for child fondling.

The cases continue to mount. Mohammad Tabesh Rasoli was arrested for a hit-and-run incident, leaving a pedestrian seriously injured. Javid Ghamgeen, transferred from Iowa authorities, has convictions for meth possession, burglary, and assaulting a public officer.

The threat extends beyond simple criminal activity. Jaan Shah Safi, an Afghan evacuee arrested in Virginia, is alleged to have provided support to the Khorosan Group, a faction of ISIS-K. His father is reportedly a commander in an Afghan militia, raising serious national security concerns.

Adding another layer of complexity, Luqmaan Khan, a student at President Biden’s alma mater, was arrested in Delaware with a handgun, ballistic armor, and a notebook detailing potential attack plans, including the layout of a university building and the name of a police officer. Investigations suggest he is also an Afghan national who fled to Pakistan as a refugee.

These arrests are not merely statistics; they represent a profound breach of trust and a stark warning about the consequences of inadequate vetting. The unfolding situation demands a comprehensive reassessment of security protocols and a commitment to protecting national security.

The DHS is now actively pursuing the identification and arrest of individuals who exploited the vulnerabilities in these programs, fulfilling President Trump’s immigration enforcement orders. The scale of the challenge, however, is immense, and the potential risks remain significant.
