Mamdani's SHOCKING Plan: Importing Britain's Darkest Secrets to America!

Mamdani's SHOCKING Plan: Importing Britain's Darkest Secrets to America!

Liz Truss, the former British Prime Minister whose time in office was cut short by economic upheaval, is now sounding a stark warning to Americans about the future of New York City. She believes the policies of the newly elected Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani echo the very issues that led to her downfall – a relentless push for higher taxes and increased regulation.

Truss draws a direct line between Mamdani’s ambitious plans for expansive social programs – free public transport, universal childcare, and city-run grocery stores – and a dangerous pattern she witnessed firsthand in the U.K. These programs, she argues, will inevitably be funded by squeezing corporations and the wealthiest New Yorkers, creating an unsustainable cycle of taxation.

Her own experience serves as a cautionary tale. Just 49 days into her premiership, Truss resigned amidst market chaos triggered by her attempt to stimulate the economy through significant tax cuts. The fallout demonstrated, she contends, the fragility of markets and the importance of a pro-growth agenda.

Now, Truss is channeling her energy into a new venture, “The Leconfield,” a private club designed to foster economic growth. It aims to connect business leaders, entrepreneurs, and political figures, providing a space for collaboration and the generation of new opportunities.

The club, housed in London’s Mayfair district, offers more than just networking. It provides dedicated co-working spaces and executive suites, a deliberate attempt to address the shortcomings of existing business environments where professionals are forced to work in hotel lobbies or restrictive clubs.

Truss points to a troubling trend: the United Kingdom is currently experiencing a net loss of millionaires and billionaires, fleeing to more favorable economic climates. She attributes this exodus to excessively high taxes, stifling regulations, and soaring energy costs – a combination that makes the U.K. increasingly uncompetitive.

The situation is compounded, she explains, by restrictions on domestic energy production. Despite abundant oil and gas reserves, fracking remains largely banned, driving up energy prices and further hindering economic growth. A brief attempt to lift the fracking ban during her premiership was later reversed.

Interestingly, Truss views the trade tactics of former President Donald Trump with a pragmatic eye. She acknowledges his use of tariffs as a negotiating tactic, drawing on her own experience as Trade Secretary where she secured 60 trade deals through assertive leverage.

This perspective stands in contrast to the concerns voiced by current British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who has urged Trump to reconsider his tariff policies. Truss believes a firm negotiating stance is essential to securing favorable trade agreements.

Beyond “The Leconfield,” Truss is also launching “The Liz Truss Show,” a YouTube channel intended to provide a platform for open discussion of British and Western politics, free from the constraints of mainstream media. She aims to foster a space for diverse perspectives and challenge conventional narratives.
