PARK PREDATOR & HIGHWAY HORROR: City Reels From Twin Tragedies!

PARK PREDATOR & HIGHWAY HORROR: City Reels From Twin Tragedies!

A disturbing incident has prompted a police investigation in Toronto’s Withrow Park, leaving parents deeply concerned. Authorities were called to the park on Thursday following reports of a man distributing unsettling materials to children.

The suspect, described as being between 30 and 40 years old, approximately six feet tall with a slender build and a short brown beard, allegedly handed out papers containing inappropriate and sexually suggestive content before quickly leaving the area.

Police are urgently seeking the public’s help to identify this individual, who was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket and a black and grey cross-body bag. The investigation is focused on ensuring the safety of children and understanding the full extent of this troubling event.

Elsewhere in the city, tragedy struck on Eglinton Avenue near the Don Valley Parkway on Sunday evening. A 60-year-old woman was pronounced dead after a complex collision involving multiple vehicles.

The incident began when the female driver, exiting the DVP, inexplicably continued straight through the off-ramp instead of merging onto eastbound Eglinton. Her vehicle collided with oncoming traffic, then crossed the LRT tracks before being struck again by a westbound vehicle, finally coming to rest against a construction fence.

Despite the efforts of emergency responders, the woman succumbed to her injuries at a trauma centre. Another individual was treated for minor injuries. The northbound DVP off-ramp remained closed as investigators pieced together the events leading to the fatal crash.

Further east, in Oshawa, a man is recovering in hospital after a shooting incident. Durham Regional Police responded to reports of an armed individual in the Simcoe-Bond Streets area late Saturday or early Sunday.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a wounded man who was immediately transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre. A significant police presence remained at the scene as the investigation unfolded, seeking to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

In Scarborough, police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning. A motorist reported being fired upon by occupants of another vehicle near Warden Avenue and Ellesmere Road.

Keenan Creary, 35, of Toronto, is wanted for aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the motorist’s vehicle sustained damage consistent with gunfire. Police are currently searching for a silver SUV believed to be involved in the incident.

Meanwhile, North York police are seeking a second suspect in connection with an aggravated assault that took place on December 8th. Keenan Creary, 35, is already wanted for aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.

The incident began with an argument, after which the victim attempted to flee but was attacked with both an edged weapon and a blunt object, resulting in serious injuries. Police are also looking for an unidentified male, approximately 50 years old, with a thin build and a distinctive white, bushy beard.
