A year-long investigation, dubbed Project Endless, has culminated in charges against eight individuals across the Greater Toronto Area, shattering a network allegedly involved in large-scale drug trafficking and firearm offences.
The investigation began in December 2024, sparked by suspicions of a suspect engaged in the illicit import and export of dangerous controlled substances. As the probe deepened, authorities uncovered a web of associates allegedly distributing drugs throughout York Region and beyond.
On October 25th, a coordinated series of five search warrants were executed at residences throughout the GTA, revealing a disturbing cache of illegal materials. The seizures included significant quantities of methamphetamine, raw fentanyl, cocaine, MDMA tablets, and illicit cannabis.
Beyond the drugs, officers recovered over $300,000 in cash, three firearms complete with ammunition, and two vehicles believed to be instrumental in the criminal operation. The scale of the seizures paints a picture of a sophisticated and lucrative enterprise.
Anh Nhat Le, 30, of Markham, now faces two counts of trafficking a controlled substance. Hong Luong Luu, 45, of Hamilton, is confronting a more extensive list of charges, including seven counts of trafficking and offences related to cannabis distribution and counselling a crime.
Josip Trdina, 43, of Georgetown, is accused of trafficking, possession for trafficking, cannabis distribution, and serious firearm storage violations. Son Tung Nguyen, 40, of Toronto, faces charges related to trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Ahmad Rustam, 34, also of Toronto, is charged with multiple counts of trafficking, possession for trafficking, and possession of proceeds obtained through crime. Faisal Khalil, 27, of Toronto, is similarly charged with trafficking and possession of criminal funds.
