Christmas Day on a bustling Seattle interstate transformed into a scene of shocking chaos when a man brazenly stole a Washington State Patrol cruiser, dragging a trooper along with him. Reports initially came in of a pedestrian darting recklessly across all lanes of Interstate 5, creating an immediate and dangerous situation for holiday travelers.
A WSP lieutenant arrived to address the hazard, hoping to secure the man’s safety and that of others on the road. Instead, the situation escalated with terrifying speed.
