HARRIS UNLEASHES: Trump's Venezuela Grab DECLARED ILLEGAL!

HARRIS UNLEASHES: Trump's Venezuela Grab DECLARED ILLEGAL!

A sharp rebuke echoed Saturday evening as former Vice President Kamala Harris condemned the recent capture of Nicolás Maduro and his wife by the previous administration, labeling the operation as both legally questionable and strategically flawed.

Acknowledging Maduro’s authoritarian rule and lack of legitimacy, Harris argued that the actions taken did not serve American interests. She asserted that the move wouldn’t enhance national security, economic stability, or the financial well-being of American families.

Harris drew parallels to past interventions, warning of a familiar pattern: conflicts initiated under the guise of strength, ultimately descending into chaos with American citizens bearing the brunt of the consequences. The specter of wars waged for resources, particularly oil, loomed large in her statement.

The former Vice President directly challenged the administration’s stated motivations, suggesting the operation was driven by oil interests rather than genuine concerns for drug interdiction or the promotion of democratic values. She accused the previous leadership of prioritizing personal ambition over national welfare.

Harris pointed to perceived hypocrisy, citing the pardon of a convicted drug trafficker and the pursuit of agreements with individuals connected to Maduro’s regime as evidence of a disregard for genuine progress in Venezuela. These actions, she argued, undermined any claim of supporting democracy.

Beyond the legal and ethical concerns, Harris raised alarms about the potential dangers to U.S. troops and the destabilization of an already volatile region. She criticized the lack of a clear legal basis, exit strategy, or demonstrable benefit for the American people.

The captured Maduro and his wife were transported to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn late Saturday, arriving by helicopter after initial processing by the DEA in Manhattan. The administration had previously announced the operation, dubbed “Operation Absolute Resolve,” with a pledge to oversee Venezuela until a “safe, proper and judicious transition” could be achieved.

Harris concluded by advocating for a shift in priorities, emphasizing the need for leadership focused on lowering costs for working families, upholding the rule of law, strengthening international alliances, and, above all, prioritizing the needs of the American people.
