GREENE QUITS! Chaos Erupts – Emergency Election Imminent!

A political earthquake has struck Georgia, as former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene officially resigned her seat, triggering a special election scheduled for March 10th. The surprising announcement, made last November, left many questioning the motives behind a departure with a full year remaining in her term.

In a candid ten-minute video message to her constituents, Greene voiced deep frustrations with the seemingly endless cycle of political stagnation. She argued that regardless of which party held power, the lives of ordinary Americans remained unchanged, trapped in a system that failed to deliver tangible improvements.

Known as a staunch ally of Donald Trump, Greene surprisingly diverged from the former president on several key issues. She notably championed the rights of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims, pushing for the release of FBI files despite Trump’s attempts to keep them sealed, a move that ultimately led to death threats against her and accusations of betrayal from the former president.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., speaks during a hearing of the House Committee on Homeland Security on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., Dec. 11, 2025.

Her independent streak didn’t stop there. Greene also criticized fellow Republicans for failing to extend Affordable Care Act subsidies and openly challenged Trump’s tariff policies, demonstrating a willingness to buck party lines when her convictions demanded it.

Just days before her departure, Greene ignited controversy with a scathing critique of U.S. military intervention in Venezuela. Appearing on national television, she argued that the focus should be on dismantling Mexican drug cartels, the true source of the fentanyl crisis devastating American communities, including her own district.

She directly challenged the logic of targeting Venezuela, questioning why the Trump administration hadn’t prioritized combating the cartels if the goal was truly to protect Americans from the flow of narcotics. This stance, while not excusing the actions of Venezuelan President Maduro, highlighted a core tenet of her political philosophy: America First.

Greene passionately reiterated this “America First” principle in the days following her television appearance, emphasizing the need to prioritize domestic concerns like jobs, affordable housing, and healthcare. She argued that these were the issues truly resonating with American voters, not foreign entanglements.

As she concluded her time in office, Greene revealed a disturbing reality: the constant threat of violence. On her final day, she and Capitol police were forced to address another death threat, underscoring the increasingly hostile environment she experienced throughout her political career.

Currently, Greene has stated she has no immediate plans to seek another political office. She described politics as an unsafe arena, a sentiment born from the very real dangers she faced while serving her constituents, leaving the future of her political influence uncertain.
