LA ATTACKED: Pro-Freedom Rally Targeted in Shocking Crash!

A chilling scene unfolded in Los Angeles as a U-Haul truck careened into a crowd of demonstrators rallying in support of Iranian freedom. The sudden intrusion sparked immediate chaos, leaving two people injured and a community reeling.

Witnesses described a vehicle with shattered windows and side mirrors, relentlessly pushing through the densely packed march. Police swiftly intercepted the truck several blocks away, surrounding it as enraged protesters swarmed the vehicle, confronting the driver.

Dramatic helicopter footage captured the tense standoff, showing officers struggling to maintain order while demonstrators expressed their fury, striking the truck and reaching inside. The driver, whose identity remains undisclosed, was taken into custody for further investigation.

The Norway-based NGO Iran Human Rights (IHR) said it had confirmed the killing of at least 192 protesters but warned the actual death toll could already amount to several hundreds, or even more. The IHR has an extensive network of sources in the country. The protests, initially sparked by anger over the rising cost of living, have evolved into a movement against the theocratic system in place in Iran since the 1979 revolution. While one individual was directly struck by the truck, paramedics thankfully reported that all three evaluated at the scene did not require hospitalization. Initial observations suggest a deliberate act, raising concerns about potential political motivations behind the incident.

A stark message was emblazoned on the side of the truck: “No Shah, No Regime. USA: Don’t Repeat 1953. No Mullah.” This statement alludes to the controversial 1953 US and UK-backed coup that overthrew Iran’s Prime Minister, and a rejection of religious leadership.

The incident in Los Angeles echoes the escalating unrest within Iran itself. Over the past two weeks, more than 10,600 people have been arrested while bravely protesting the current regime. The true scale of the demonstrations remains obscured by government-imposed internet shutdowns and disrupted phone lines.

Tragically, reports indicate that at least 496 protesters have been killed by security forces in Iran. Demonstrations initially ignited over the plummeting value of the Rial, the nation’s currency, but have since evolved into a widespread call for fundamental human rights and an end to autocratic rule.

These protests represent the largest wave of dissent since the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman who died in police custody after being arrested for allegedly violating hijab regulations. Her death sparked outrage and ignited a nationwide movement met with brutal suppression by Iranian authorities.

The current unrest is a culmination of economic hardship and a deep-seated frustration with political repression. What began as a protest against financial struggles has transformed into a powerful demand for freedom and a rejection of the established order.
