Cebu Pacific soared to unprecedented heights in 2025, transporting a record-breaking 26.88 million passengers. This represents a significant jump of 9.54% compared to the 24.54 million travelers welcomed in 2024, fueled by a remarkably resilient domestic travel market.
The airline concluded the year with its highest-ever monthly passenger count, a testament to its growing popularity and strategic operational adjustments. This achievement underscores a powerful trend: more people than ever are choosing to fly with Cebu Pacific.
Domestic routes proved particularly strong, carrying nearly 20 million passengers – an 8.1% increase year-over-year. Simultaneously, international travel saw an even more substantial surge, climbing 14% to reach 6.89 million passengers.
Despite facing considerable headwinds – including aircraft maintenance challenges, disruptions in the global supply chain, and ongoing geopolitical instability – the airline demonstrated remarkable resilience. This success is attributed to its efficient low-cost structure and the adaptability of its operational teams.
December alone witnessed 2.71 million passengers taking to the skies with Cebu Pacific, a 5.1% increase from the previous December. Of those, 2 million traveled domestically, while 710,000 embarked on international journeys.
Looking ahead to 2026, the airline anticipates maintaining this impressive growth trajectory. A key factor supporting this optimistic outlook is the planned arrival of seven new aircraft, bolstering its fleet capacity.
With a seat load factor of 84% throughout 2025, indicating a consistently high level of seat occupancy, Cebu Pacific efficiently utilized its available capacity. Total seats offered increased by 10% to nearly 32 million, accommodating the growing demand.
