TRUMP DERANGEMENT: Midterms Decided by Pure HATRED!

The narrative surrounding the upcoming midterms isn’t about kitchen-table economics, despite what many believe. A closer look reveals a surprisingly robust economic landscape – gas prices at a five-year low, record stock market highs, and a GDP surge. Even wage growth is outpacing inflation, a rare and positive sign for many households.

These favorable conditions, coupled with declining mortgage rates and substantial foreign investment, paint a picture of an economy poised for significant growth. The impact of recent policy changes, designed to ease burdens on workers and businesses, is only beginning to be felt. Yet, this economic reality seems strangely disconnected from the prevailing political discourse.

The true deciding factor in these midterms won’t be affordability, but something far more visceral: the enduring intensity of opposition to a single figure. Will ingrained animosity towards Donald Trump overshadow any demonstrable achievements during his time in office?

President Donald Trump speaks to House Republican lawmakers during their annual policy retreat, Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, in Washington.

Consider the swift closure of the southern border, accomplished without new legislation – a feat of executive action. Then there’s the successful negotiation for the release of Israeli hostages from Gaza, a complex and sensitive diplomatic victory. These actions, alongside increased pressure on European allies regarding Ukraine and a forceful stance against Iran, represent a substantial record.

Beyond foreign policy, significant domestic changes have occurred. Expanded school-choice programs offer opportunities for students in underserved communities, while sustained pressure on Iran’s regime coincides with a period of heightened internal instability. Furthermore, a renewed focus on protecting Jewish students on university campuses and challenging DEI policies signals a shift in priorities.

The administration has also prioritized immigration enforcement, with approximately 1.5 million deportations of individuals, many with criminal records. While acknowledging the inevitability of occasional errors – instances where U.S. citizens were mistakenly detained – these occurrences represent a tiny fraction of the total deportations, less than 0.0113%.

These errors, though regrettable, are statistically rare, especially when viewed in the context of reversing years of unchecked illegal immigration. The willingness of sanctuary cities and states to cooperate with ICE within correctional facilities could significantly reduce these incidents, but that cooperation remains elusive.

It’s worth remembering a time when concerns for the oppression of women in Iran were openly voiced. Now, a strong stance against the Iranian regime, a regime known for its suppression of women, is being taken. This highlights a complex and often shifting political landscape.

Ultimately, the midterms will be determined by a pervasive phenomenon: a deep-seated resistance to acknowledging any positive outcome associated with Donald Trump. This resistance, often absolute and unwavering, transcends rational assessment of facts and achievements.

For a significant portion of the electorate, the idea of conceding even a single point to Trump is unthinkable. This unwavering animosity, this “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” has taken root not only within the United States but also internationally.

The question isn’t about gas prices or grocery bills. It’s about whether voters can overcome their pre-conceived notions and acknowledge reality, or if their opposition to Trump is so complete that improvements in their own lives will be dismissed and ignored. That, and not economic concerns, is the defining issue of this election.
