PREGNANT WOMAN BRUTALLY ATTACKED, HOME TORCHED: Teen's Savage Facebook Deal Gone HORRIFIC!

PREGNANT WOMAN BRUTALLY ATTACKED, HOME TORCHED: Teen's Savage Facebook Deal Gone HORRIFIC!

A routine Facebook Marketplace transaction in Downers Grove, Illinois, spiraled into unimaginable horror when a young mother and her unborn child were brutally murdered.

Nedas Revuckas, 19, is accused of a calculated and savage attack on 30-year-old Eliza Morales, a woman five months pregnant with her second child. The meeting, arranged to finalize the sale of a pickup truck, became a scene of unspeakable violence.

Revuckas initially responded to an online listing for a red 1994 Ford Ranger posted by Morales’s husband. He test drove the truck, then left with it, still bearing the family’s license plates, setting the stage for a deadly return.

Surveillance footage captured the chilling encounter. Morales handed Revuckas a screwdriver, a seemingly innocuous gesture that masked the terror to come. Minutes later, he re-entered the apartment building, concealing the tool behind his back.

Investigators believe a struggle ensued inside the apartment. The door handle turned repeatedly, a desperate attempt to escape the escalating violence. Then, smoke began to billow from under the door, signaling a horrific act of arson.

Firefighters discovered Morales near the entrance, gravely wounded. Despite frantic efforts, she was pronounced dead inside the ambulance. The senselessness of the act was compounded by the fate of the family’s elderly dog.

The dog was stabbed between the eyes and kicked by Revuckas, but miraculously managed to escape through a sliding glass door during the chaos. It is now receiving veterinary care, a small beacon of hope amidst the devastation.

Revuckas was apprehended at his home in Westmont, where the stolen pickup truck was recovered. Initially, he claimed he left the apartment through the front entrance, but surveillance footage contradicted his story.

A search of his home revealed disturbing evidence: boots and clothing stained with what appeared to be blood. Confronted with the evidence, Revuckas confessed to the murder, claiming anger over the truck’s condition fueled his rage.

His confession revealed a chilling detail – Morales informed him of her pregnancy during the struggle. Yet, he continued the brutal attack, inflicting a staggering seventy stab wounds, primarily to her head and neck, according to the coroner’s report.

The autopsy also revealed defensive wounds, indicating a desperate fight for survival. Soot found in her airway confirmed the deliberate attempt to conceal the crime through fire. The unborn child also perished as a result of the injuries sustained by the mother.

While Revuckas denied sexual assault, a sexual assault kit was conducted due to vaginal bruising. He admitted to intentionally setting the fire, using household items and flammable chemicals from the kitchen stove.

“I’m gonna spend the rest of my life missing her,” Morales’s husband, Gabriel, shared with heartbreaking grief. He now faces the unimaginable task of raising their two-year-old daughter alone, carrying the weight of this profound loss.

The community has rallied around the grieving family, with a GoFundMe campaign raising nearly $30,000 to help with expenses. The loss has left an immeasurable void, a stark reminder of the fragility of life and the darkness that can lurk beneath the surface of everyday interactions.
