October 30th began like any other morning at the airport, until Leon, 40 years old, began running through the terminal. He bypassed initial security measures and aggressively pushed past a TSA agent, sending the officer crashing to the floor.
The cry of “breach!” instantly echoed through the checkpoint. Mark Thomas, a bystander, reacted without a second thought, pivoting to face the unfolding danger. His immediate response would change the course of the incident.
In a swift, decisive move, Thomas lunged at Leon, expertly grabbing and lifting him before executing a forceful takedown. The suspect slammed to the ground, effectively ending his attempt to breach security.
