ENEMY WITHIN: Foreign Powers Fueling Chaos on US Streets!

The killing of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis sparked outrage, but the response quickly escalated beyond local grief. A protester, identifying as a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), traveled from Colorado, declaring a mission to “beat the Trump administration.” This wasn’t an isolated act of passion; it was the opening salvo in a carefully orchestrated campaign.

Within days, DSA chapters weren’t just protesting – they were actively disrupting. A Target store in Minneapolis became the focal point, targeted for allegedly supporting ICE’s actions. A City Council member proudly aligned herself with the demonstration, openly identifying as a socialist and condemning both Target and federal authorities. The action wasn’t spontaneous; it was boasted about by the DSA chapter itself, a shutdown achieved through organized effort.

The rhetoric employed was jarring. Comparisons to Hitler’s Gestapo surfaced in Boston, with demonstrators carrying signs echoing Nazi imagery, but replacing the swastika with the letters “ICE.” Students in Los Angeles skipped school, lauded by the DSA for “standing in solidarity” against ICE raids. This wasn’t simply opposition to a policy; it was a deliberate and escalating assault on the legitimacy of U.S. law enforcement.

A new report from the Network Contagion Research Institute reveals a disturbing pattern. The DSA’s messaging isn’t homegrown; it mirrors the anti-U.S. propaganda emanating from foreign adversaries. This isn’t accidental, but a deliberate “narrative convergence,” designed to sow discord and undermine faith in American institutions.

The report highlights a chilling consistency. The same language used to attack America internationally is being recycled domestically, targeting law enforcement and fueling unrest. This isn’t just about immigration; it’s about a broader effort to delegitimize the United States itself. The DSA, increasingly influential with political wins like a mayoral election in New York City, is becoming a key vector for this messaging.

The network extends beyond the DSA. A tech tycoon based in Shanghai has funded numerous groups – including the People’s Forum and CodePink – that work closely with the DSA to disrupt immigration enforcement and amplify anti-American narratives. These groups are actively deploying “foot soldiers” into the streets, stoking chaos and pushing a consistent ideological line.

The DSA’s actions aren’t limited to protests. They are actively training “rapid responders” and “observers” to monitor law enforcement movements, compiling data in databases that intelligence experts consider a serious national security threat. This isn’t simply dissent; it’s a systematic effort to gather intelligence on those tasked with upholding the law.

The Network Contagion Research Institute’s analysis points to a pattern warranting scrutiny under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. The DSA receives benefits as a nonprofit, yet exhibits “repeated foreign-facilitated engagements” and advocates for policies aligned with the interests of Venezuela, Cuba, and China. They apply the same anti-legitimacy framework to domestic enforcement and U.S. foreign policy.

Demonstrations explicitly link immigration enforcement to broader U.S. foreign policy, using slogans like “No ICE, No War.” The DSA has organized delegations to Venezuela, Cuba, and China, receiving lavish accommodations and meeting with high-ranking officials, including Nicolás Maduro and Miguel Díaz-Canel. These trips were followed by coordinated advocacy directly advancing the regimes’ priorities.

After a trip to China, the DSA hosted an event opposing U.S. escalation in the region. Following a visit to Cuba, they organized efforts to end the U.S. economic blockade. This isn’t simply about solidarity; it’s about actively working to undermine U.S. policy and bolster authoritarian regimes. The DSA’s actions demonstrate a clear alignment with foreign adversaries.

Analysts at the Network Contagion Research Institute conducted a large-scale analysis of DSA communications, finding a “consistent pattern of blame convergence on U.S. institutions.” This isn’t issue-specific framing; it’s a shared narrative structure, suggesting a deliberate and coordinated effort to delegitimize the United States. The anti-ICE movement, they conclude, serves as a domestic front in a global conflict.

The findings don’t allege criminal wrongdoing, but they raise serious concerns about the DSA’s conduct and its potential vulnerability to foreign influence. As protests continue and congressional investigators examine “malign foreign influence,” the questions surrounding the DSA’s activities are only growing more urgent. The organization itself continues to organize, recently boasting about ICE’s “dwindling legitimacy” and preparing for further actions targeting – once again – Target stores.
