A seasoned leader with a distinguished career is taking the helm at Investment & Capital Corp. of the Philippines (ICCP). Augusto D. Bengzon, formerly a key executive at Ayala Land, Inc., has been appointed as the new chairman and chief executive officer, signaling a new chapter for the investment firm.

Luchangco, chairman of the ICCP Executive Committee, emphasized Bengzon’s exceptional background in finance, governance, and strategic leadership, expressing confidence in his ability to guide the company’s continued growth.
Bengzon’s professional journey spans nearly two decades in the financial sector. He honed his expertise over 16 years at Citibank, mastering the intricacies of consumer, corporate, and investment banking before transitioning to a prominent role within one of the Philippines’ largest real estate developers.
He recently concluded a significant tenure at Ayala Land, retiring in December as a senior vice-president and member of the Management Committee. Throughout his time there, he held pivotal positions including treasurer, CFO, and chief compliance officer, demonstrating a versatile skillset and commitment to sound financial practices.
Bengzon’s impact on Ayala Land was substantial. He was instrumental in fortifying the company’s financial foundation, enhancing its relationships with investors, and fueling its expansion into diverse real estate ventures – a legacy ICCP hopes to build upon.
