HORROR CRASH: Driver's Chilling Confession – "I Killed Him!

The chilling final moments unfolded on a stretch of the A46, a scene now etched in the stark reality of a tragic loss. Mariusz Kosinski, driving at a reckless speed, careened onto the wrong side of the road, his black BMW 330d a blur against the landscape.

Seconds later, the car flipped violently, landing on its roof. A horrifying realization washed over Kosinski as he screamed, “I killed the dude!” His passenger, 40-year-old Pawel Czubacki, was gone – a life extinguished by a senseless act of dangerous driving.

Prior to the crash, Kosinski had brazenly filmed his speedometer registering 80mph, a digital display of impending disaster. Witnesses recounted the vehicle speeding past fourteen cars and two motorcycles, a reckless display of disregard for everyone on the road.

A subsequent breathalyzer test revealed Kosinski was more than twice the legal alcohol limit, his judgment severely impaired. The evidence painted a clear picture of deliberate recklessness, a conscious choice to endanger lives.

At Worcester Crown Court, Judge Nicholas Cartwright condemned Kosinski’s actions, stating he deliberately ignored the rules of the road and displayed a shocking disregard for the safety of others, driven by a need to “show off.”

The sentence was delivered: ten-and-a-half years in prison for causing death by dangerous driving. A thirteen-year driving ban was also imposed, a measure intended to protect the public from his continued risk.

Investigators revealed the dashcam footage wasn’t an isolated incident. It showcased a pattern of risky and dangerous driving, confirming that Kosinski’s reckless behavior was habitual, not a momentary lapse in judgment.

Detective Constable Danny Somner emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating the conviction and sentencing were a necessary outcome for Kosinski’s appalling actions, which resulted in a tragic death and endangered countless others.

The case serves as a stark and devastating reminder of the catastrophic consequences of impaired and reckless driving, a tragedy that has left a family grieving and a community shaken.
