BORDER ATTACK: Agent Fights Back in Wild New Hampshire Shootout!

A U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent faced a terrifying moment in Pittsburg, New Hampshire, early Sunday morning, firing their weapon after being shot at near the U.S.-Canada border. The agent successfully struck the individual who initiated the attack, according to CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott. The identity of the shooter remains unknown as they receive medical attention, their condition currently uncertain.

The FBI Boston Field Office has taken the lead on the investigation, with CBP fully cooperating to determine the precise sequence of events. Preliminary findings suggest the individual opened fire on the agent first, around 1:00 a.m., escalating the situation into a dangerous confrontation. Evidence teams were swiftly dispatched to meticulously document the scene.

This incident unfolded just hours after another shooting at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida. Around 1:30 a.m., a man breached the resort’s security perimeter, triggering a rapid response from the Secret Service and local law enforcement.

The suspect, identified as 21-year-old Austin Tucker Martin of North Carolina, made an unauthorized entry through a north gate while another vehicle was exiting. He was observed carrying both a shotgun and a fuel can, immediately raising alarm among security personnel.

Confronted by agents and a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputy, Martin was ordered to drop his weapons. He complied with the demand to release the fuel can, but then raised the shotgun into a firing position. This action prompted the agents and deputy to open fire, neutralizing the threat.

According to Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw, no words were exchanged between Martin and law enforcement before the shooting. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and thankfully, no Secret Service personnel or deputies were injured. The President was not present at Mar-a-Lago during the incident.

These two separate, alarming events within a short timeframe underscore the constant vigilance required to protect national borders and secure high-profile locations. Investigations are ongoing to fully understand the motives and circumstances surrounding both shootings.
