CARTEL WAR: Ex-SEAL Declares Total War After Savage Bloodbath!

CARTEL WAR: Ex-SEAL Declares Total War After Savage Bloodbath!

The reported targeting of Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes, known as “El Mencho,” leader of the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG), has ignited a call to action from Representative Dan Crenshaw. He argues this event marks not an end, but a dangerous beginning – the opening salvo in a war against a uniquely brutal criminal organization.

Crenshaw, a veteran of the Navy SEALs, frames the CJNG not as a traditional mafia, but as an entity mirroring the ruthlessness of ISIS. While both the CJNG and the Sinaloa Cartel are major players in the fentanyl trade devastating the United States, Crenshaw believes the CJNG presents a far more extreme and immediate threat.

He contends that the focus on combating cartels needs a dramatic shift, demanding increased coordination between U.S. and Mexican forces. This isn’t simply about law enforcement; it’s about recognizing a fundamental change in the nature of the enemy and adapting accordingly.

Crenshaw has already been actively pursuing legislative avenues to bolster U.S. support for Mexico’s fight against these cartels. He has authored a dozen bills aimed at strengthening military, intelligence, and law enforcement efforts south of the border, urging Congressional committees to prioritize their consideration.

One particularly assertive bill, introduced in 2023 with significant cosponsorship, would have authorized the U.S. military to directly engage in operations against narcotraffickers. This would have granted the President broad authority to utilize American military power against organizations deemed responsible for fentanyl trafficking.

More recently, Crenshaw spearheaded the North America Security Initiative, advocating for a substantial increase in resources for Mexican special forces. He proposes mirroring the support provided to Ukraine, equipping Mexico with the tools, weapons, and intelligence needed to effectively combat the cartels.

The core principle driving this initiative is strengthening the U.S.-Mexico partnership, rather than pursuing unilateral action. Crenshaw emphasizes that alienating existing allies would be counterproductive, and the immediate priority must be disrupting the fentanyl networks responsible for countless American deaths.

According to sources close to Crenshaw, he is actively collaborating with House Speaker Mike Johnson to bring cartel-focused legislation to the forefront. He believes a crucial window of opportunity has opened, fueled by a more cooperative Mexican government and enhanced intelligence gathering capabilities.

Crenshaw points to a key amendment he secured two years ago within the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), which authorized intelligence collection specifically targeting the cartels. This, combined with a renewed focus and a willing partner in Mexico, has positioned the U.S. to finally confront this escalating crisis.

He acknowledges the fight will be protracted and challenging, but insists the time for decisive action is now. The targeting of El Mencho, he believes, is not a victory lap, but a stark call to arms – a signal that a long-overdue confrontation has finally begun.
