These aren’t isolated incidents. A dangerous wave is building, threatening Americans of all faiths – Christians, Jews, and everyone in between. The escalating rhetoric of hate, spewed from both the political left and right, is fueling this alarming trend.
For years, animosity towards Jews and Israel has festered on the left, openly expressed by politicians, activists, and voters alike. But a surprising shift had begun. Jewish voters, and crucially, Jewish financial support, were increasingly aligning with the GOP and President Trump.
This influx of support – the “mother’s milk of politics” as Tip O’Neil famously said – represented a monumental change. It was a victory born of disillusionment with the left’s growing hostility. But just as this momentum built, a disturbing countercurrent emerged from within the right.
Figures like Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and Marjorie Taylor Greene began echoing the very same hateful narratives previously confined to the left. The timing feels deliberate, almost orchestrated. Dismissing this as mere questioning of Israeli policy is a dangerous deception.
The attacks go far beyond legitimate debate. Carlson isn’t simply scrutinizing aid to Israel; he’s questioning the foundations of Jewish faith, demanding DNA tests, and providing a platform for Holocaust deniers. The rhetoric is escalating to unthinkable levels, even suggesting horrific acts in Iran.
Owens’s views are even more extreme, propagating conspiracy theories that blame Jews for America’s problems and even alleging their involvement in the 9/11 attacks. She actively encourages Americans to abandon their military service, claiming it’s controlled by Israel. This isn’t discourse; it’s incitement.
The consequences are tragically clear. These poisonous words are creating an environment where attacks on Jewish communities and institutions are not only possible, but seemingly inevitable. It’s as if an open season on Jews has been declared.
The convergence of hate from opposing sides is deeply unsettling. It threatens to unravel the fragile coalition that propelled Trump to power, handing victory to the forces of division – the Deep State, the Democrat Party, and even hostile foreign powers like China and Iran.
