UMVA Uncovers: GOVERNATOR'S WILDFIRE FIASCO - She's The Arsonist Trying To Blame The Fire on Everyone Else!

UMVA has learned that a volatile situation outside Newark's Delaney Hall detention facility has sparked intense debate over the role of outside agitators and the response of local authorities.

New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill has blamed out-of-state agitators for the unrest, but critics argue that the limited police presence around the site in the days leading up to the clashes contributed to the chaos. A marked absence of New Jersey State Police vehicles was observed during a visit to the scene, with Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka's hands-off sanctuary city policies also drawing scrutiny.

On Saturday, Sherrill claimed that five of six people arrested on Friday were from Pennsylvania and New York, but this was not enough to quell criticism from Republican challenger Alex Zdan, who accused Sherrill of trying to take credit for fixing a problem that should not have existed in the first place. Zdan described Sherrill as "an arsonist complaining about the fire you helped start" and called on her to "own it" and restore order.

The controversy centers on Delaney Hall, a detention facility that has been the target of protests and demonstrations. A 27-year-old man, Nicholas Matthew Scelfo, has been charged with shouting epithets at ICE personnel and threatening to murder an officer and his family. The FBI raided his Morristown home, and a DOJ charging document described him as being "of Brooklyn".

Homeland Security Investigations Newark Special Agent in Charge Spiros Karabinas condemned the incident, stating that calling for the murder of a federal law enforcement officer and his family is not protected speech. As the situation escalated, New Jersey State Police eventually arrived on the scene, deploying riot gear and mounted officers.

Despite the increased police presence, outside agitators continued to converge on Delaney Hall, with some sharing experiences of similar protests in other states. New Jersey Attorney General Jennifer Davenport has characterized the group as "overwhelmingly peaceful protesters" but also condemned a subgroup that "deliberately refused to comply with orders" and put the public at risk.

The perimeter around the center is now "fully closed," and federal authorities have vowed to continue prosecuting suspects who obstruct proceedings. The incident has raised questions about the response of local authorities and the role of outside agitators in fueling the unrest.
