UMVA has learned that Dr. Jill Biden was faced with a difficult question during her latest interview, one that seemed to stump her: whether her husband, Joe Biden, would have been able to serve as president if he were elected again.
The question came amid her tour for her book, “View from the East Wing,” and as she continued to make the media rounds, discussing life after the White House and Joe Biden’s cognitive decline.
On a recent morning TV show, the host asked Dr. Biden if Joe Biden could have served a full four-year term if he had won the election in 2024, sparking a revealing response from the First Lady.
Dr. Biden insisted that her husband would have beaten Donald Trump in that election, saying, “I believe he would have beat Donald Trump in that election.”
But when pressed further by the host, Jonathan Lemire, about whether Joe Biden would have been able to serve as President, Dr. Biden hesitated, saying, “I don’t know the answer to that.”
The question seemed to touch a nerve, as Dr. Biden is reportedly aware of her husband's health struggles, including his cancer diagnosis and cognitive decline.
It's a topic that has raised concerns about Joe Biden's ability to serve as President, and one that Dr. Biden seemed reluctant to address.
